Relax and Unwind

Resources to Help You Feel Better

Motherhood can be incredibly rewarding — but it can also be exhausting, overwhelming and emotionally demanding.

At Help For Mums, we create practical resources and products specifically for mums who are juggling the emotional load of motherhood, work, relationships, family and life — and who want to feel calmer, more confident and more like themselves again.

Whether you need a little support right now, want to understand yourself better, or are ready to make bigger changes, you'll find resources here to help you take care of you too.

How We Can Help

From books and digital resources to ongoing support, each Help For Mums product is designed to give mums practical tools they can actually use in everyday life.

Our Products

Perfect Mum: How to Survive the Emotional Rollercoaster of Motherhood

A practical and honest guide to navigating the emotional ups and downs of motherhood. It explores the feelings so many mums experience but don't always talk about — including overwhelm, guilt, stress, exhaustion, loss of identity and the pressure to be everything to everyone. If you've ever wondered, "Why am I finding motherhood so hard?", this book is for you. A supportive guide to understanding your emotions, looking after yourself and finding more balance in motherhood.

Refresh Your Life

A practical guide designed to help you make positive changes to your wellbeing, confidence, habits and relationship with yourself. It's about creating healthier routines, feeling better in your body and mind, and becoming more intentional about the life you want to create. Because looking after yourself isn't selfish. It's part of living a healthier, happier life.

Created by Someone Who Understands Mums

Help For Mums was created by Lizzie O'Halloran an experienced counsellor and life coach who has spent many years supporting women through the emotional challenges of life and motherhood. With a background in counselling, behavioural science and positive psychology, Lizzie's approach combines professional knowledge with practical strategies that mums can use in everyday life. Lizzie believes mums deserve support too — not just advice about how to manage everyone else, because when you feel better, you have more of yourself to give — but you also deserve to feel good simply because you are you.
