If you are experiencing significant psychological distress, symptoms of a mental health condition, or concerns about your physical or emotional health, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified health professional.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency or are at immediate risk of harm, contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis service rather than relying on Help For Mums.

5. MEDITATION, MINDFULNESS AND RELAXATION
Meditation, mindfulness, breathing exercises, relaxation exercises and similar practices may be helpful for some people, but individual experiences and results will vary.
You should use your own judgement when participating in any exercise or practice.
If an exercise causes you discomfort, distress, dizziness, pain or any other concerning symptom, stop the exercise and seek appropriate professional advice where necessary.
Do not use meditation, relaxation or mindfulness content as a substitute for medical or mental health treatment when such treatment is required.
6. SPIRITUAL AND ENERGY-BASED PRACTICES
Some Help For Mums or Mum Matters content may include spiritual, mindfulness, visualisation, manifestation or energy-based practices.
These practices are provided as personal wellbeing or self-reflection tools.
They are not presented as medical treatment and should not be relied upon as a substitute for appropriate healthcare.
Any statements about wellbeing, energy, manifestation or personal transformation represent the nature and intention of those practices and are not guarantees of a particular physical, psychological, financial or other outcome.

Help For Mums may provide information and ideas relating to parenting, family life, relationships and children's wellbeing.
Parenting circumstances differ considerably between families.
Our content is general in nature and is not a substitute for individual advice from a suitably qualified professional, particularly where a child has medical, developmental, behavioural, psychological or other specialised needs.

Where Help For Mums discusses nutrition, food, exercise, sleep, lifestyle or general wellbeing, that information is provided for general educational purposes.
It is not intended to replace personalised advice from a doctor, dietitian, nutritionist, physiotherapist or other appropriately qualified professional.
Individual dietary, medical and lifestyle needs vary.
